Sharleigh Zavaglia is a dedicated resident of Phoenix, AZ, holding a B.A. in Business from the University of Arizona Global Campus and an M.Eng. in Safety Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With a multifaceted background as a professional driver, safety consultant, and entrepreneur, she brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the trucking community.

As a committed advocate for truckers, Sharleigh focuses on providing tailored mental and physical health solutions that address the distinct challenges faced by professional drivers. She regularly publishes articles in leading safety journals and creates engaging content on psychological safety, learning-based safety, and resilience engineering within the trucking industry.

Sharleigh’s journey began as a safety consultant for trucking companies and heavy industries, during which she traveled over 540,000 miles across the Western United States. This extensive experience gave her firsthand insight into the daily struggles of drivers, sparking her mission to promote holistic wellness. To stay connected to the trucking world and deepen her understanding, she still takes to the highway, continuing to gain valuable perspectives from behind the wheel.

In addition to her current work, Sharleigh is pursuing health science studies at the University of Arizona to become a primary care clinician dedicated to serving professional drivers in the future. She is also pursuing a psychology specialty to assist with the many challenges drivers face in mental health on the road.

Currently, Sharleigh is channeling her expertise into actionable change, aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who keep the country moving. Her work is guided by a deep respect for the trucking community and a vision for a healthier, safer industry.
